We are a non-profit soccer union of communities in the East Kootenays of British Columbia.  We work together to promote strong recreational grassroots soccer leagues in communities too small to have a league on their own.

Elk Valley Athletic Soccer Union is the union of small BC soccer communities in the Elk Valley to organise houseleague recreational soccer for U11 to U18 (Grade 6 to 12).  

In the spring we participate in the Rocky Mountain Soccer League.  Communities in the RML include Elkford, Fernie, Jaffray, Sparwood, Crowsnest Pass and Pincher Creek.  

In the autumn we run a 5v5 houseleague that starts outside and moves inside for futsal when the weather changes.

We support the existing clubs and hope to augment existing development pathways by regionalising competition and training.  

Recreational soccer provides more opportunities to youth players from small communities to play.  There is a place for every type of athlete.
